CCA New Hire Onboarding Process

Updated 7/8/22 to add Shadow Day step to the interview process.

Step 1: We decide which pod needs a new hire. 

Who Is Responsible: Riggs will be responsible for determining this based on Stephen Thomas’s numbers and RSM feedback. Every Friday we will review if any pod needs additional headcount.

Step 2: Start Scheduling Interviews

 Who is Responsible: Kyle will start scheduling interviews for the RSMs who need new hires during the RSM’s selected interview days. (if RSM is not available during the selected day, they must communicate that with Kyle ahead of time)

Step 3: Perform In-Person Interviews

Who is Responsible: RSM is responsible for conducting the interviews with another RSM or Riggs. If we like the candidate we schedule them to come in for a Shadow Day within the next two working days. 

Step 4: Shadow Day Interview: Who is Responsible: RSM is responsible to schedule and conduct shadow day. This consist of one hour of candidate shadowing with two different RSMs to get a final determination as to whether or not the candidate will get a job offer.

Step 5: Verbal Offer Made

Who is Responsible: RSM is responsible for reaching out to candidates and making a verbal offer and coordinating the start date. Training classes will happen on the 1st and 3rd week of each month starting on Mondays, so those will be their options for start dates. Once a verbal offer is made, communicate with Kyle about the acceptance and start date.

Step 6: Send Offer Letter

Who is Responsible: Kyle will send the offer letter.

Step 7: New Hire Paperwork

Who Is Responsible: Kyle, as soon as the candidate, accepts will send the new hire paperwork to the new hire. As soon as it gets filled out, Kyle will send it to Cadence and Stephen Thomas.

Step 8: Prepare for New Hire

Who Is Responsible: Cadence will work to get computers, Voxo, Salesforce, codes, etc. set up by start day. Depending on time between receiving new hire paperwork and start day some things may not be done on time. If this is the case, Cadence must communicate with RSM so they are aware and can make adjustments. 

Step 9: New Hire Starts

Who is Responsible: RSM begins training with the new hire(s).
